Application

The Surgical Smoke Filter contains activated charcoal to safely, directly and efficiently eliminate surgical smoke. This smoke is produced during laparoscopic surgery through commonly used heat transfer and laser techniques and can obstruct the surgeon's view of the surgical site. In addition, smoke can harbour biological pathogens such as bacteria, viruses and cancer cells as well as chemical toxins.

  • Safe smoke removal for both patient and theatre personnel

  • 99.995% filtration efficiency

  • Larger roll nip design

  • Single use, sterile, ready to use
